Written in the 1960s, Ronald Liversedge’s memoir is a soldier’s-eye account of life and death at the front. He gives us a glimpse of the fascinating panoply of characters drawn to the Spanish struggle, confronts the ravages of war, and illuminates the beliefs that inspired thousands of Canadian volunteers to undergo great hardship and risk their lives in a foreign war. After nearly half a century, Liversedge’s memoir appears now for the first time, accompanied by eighteen photos, an introduction, and notes.

A fine art print (20 x 30 inches) of the book cover artwork printed with archival ink on premium 230 gsm Moab Lasal matte paper is $85. Mounting and/or framing and shipping and taxes are extra.
